As I complete
my Rodand and Fields business trip to Memphis, I am reminded of the amazing memories spent at the
Memphis Zoo with my father.
The day was sunny, okay HOT. We shared a delicious
fried chicken picnic prepared by my mother. As a young child the animals in
their cages were huge. The monkeys were the most photogenic; the lions were
exotic and the snakes scary. Yet, that trip was more than big animals. It was love.
It was about experiencing a moment, teaching lessons of our vast ecosystem and
animal planet, and taking the time to create and capture a memory.
I encourage you to create a memory today. Get out of your routine. Renew your commitment to take care of yourself. Spend time
with someone important in your life...Even the Memphis Zoo ducks know it is healthy to escape with
the one you love.
